How strategy is built

From foundation to corrective action

AccurAPM runs asset strategy as one governed cycle rather than a set of separate studies. Each stage feeds the next, and every stage references the same asset hierarchy, so a decision taken in one module is visible to the others.

✓Foundational data. Corrosion control documents, asset criticality and integrity operating windows establish what each asset is, how it can degrade and the conditions it is expected to operate within.

✓Strategy selection. Criticality and risk determine which assessment approach each asset warrants, so effort is directed rather than applied uniformly.

✓Strategy development. Asset criticality analysis, risk-based inspection, remaining life basis, interval basis and reliability centered maintenance each produce a plan for the assets they apply to.

✓Strategy execution. Inspection and maintenance activities are carried out and recorded, with reporting and documentation retained against the equipment record.

✓Corrective action. Findings become tracked recommendations, and changes to the asset or its operating envelope are managed through management of change.

✓Review and update. Execution results feed back into the strategy, so plans are revised from recorded evidence rather than repeating the original assumption.
